Birth Pool in a Box Eco - PROFESSIONAL (HOSPITAL GRADE)
The Professional Model is designed for busy midwives or hospitals that want to just provide disposable liners for each client. The Professional Grade BPIAB is made for heavy use. A thicker plastic mil provides extra protection as well as an extra thick piece of material on the very bottom of the pool. This prevents any leaks or drips coming from the floor of the pool. The extra padding also makes it more comfortable for clients.

Why "Eco-Friendly"?
birth pool in a box is made from PVC. PVC needs softening additives ("plasticisers") to make it flexible and the plasticisers historically used - compounds called phthalates - have been linked to fertility problems in animals and, by extension, people. Alternative plasticisers have been developed whose performance is close to that of phthalates and we have specified these for use in the new versions of birth pool in a box. Hence the name Eco highlights the reduced impact on health and the environment.

Three independent chambers 
The sides of a birth pool in a box are made of 3 independent tubular chambers stacked on top of each other. If one of them should puncture by accident, only 1/3 of the wall height will be lost.

Comfortable and welcoming
This doesn't look like a medical device! It is welcoming and the inflated sides are comfortable to rest upon. This is conducive to your relaxation which will enhance the production of the hormone oxytocin, speeding up your labor.

Double-reinforced handles
Mothers requested strong handles on the outside of the pool for use when leaning on the side facing out. They are angled at 30 degrees for comfort and secure the disposable liner in place.

Sturdy enough for birth partner and midwives to support from any position
Once the pool is filled, the sides are sturdy enough for a person to sit on the side without collapsing it.

Fast to inflate and fill
Any hand air pump or electric air pump with standard fittings can be used to inflate the pool in around 10 minutes, although some cheaper ones may not be powerful enough to fill the pool to the required pressure. Water filling time depends on your hot-water system. This Mini pool holds the equivalent of approximately 2.5 bathtubs of water. 

Warranty
Comes with warranty for 20 births (inflations for labor) or 1 year from day of purchase, which ever comes first. Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship which includes:

• Fabric is covered against cracking, porosity and rot.
• Seams are covered against de-laminating

Warranty does not cover simple pinhole leaks. Patches come with the pool for this type of minor repair. Warranty does not cover punctures or tears caused by operator use and handling and does not apply to normal wear and tear. Drain and deflate your pool when not in use. Failure to do so can lead to pool damage and warranty will not apply. If planing to leave pool inflated between uses, it is advisable to partially deflate the pool and not leave it rigidly inflated.
