DESCRIPTION

The Birth Pool in a Box Eco Mini Plus comes with one disposable liner.

Water depth to 18 - 22 inches. Weight when filled: 1,023 pounds.

The 3-ring design provides three independent air chambers. If one of these should be punctured, only 1/3 of the wall height will be lost. By deflating the middle chamber to the appropriate height, once the birthing person is in the filled pool, the height of the pool can be adjusted for safe and comfortable access to the woman by her caregivers. Not every person needs 26" high sides. Smaller people or smaller midwives may find that by lowering the sides of the pool by several inches, they feel more comfortable. By adjusting this on the middle air chamber, the rigidity and stability of the pool is maintained by the fully inflated top and bottom air chamber.

Double-reinforced handles - Birthing parents can use the strong handles on the outside of the pool for use when leaning on the side of the pool facing out. The handles are angled at 30 degrees for comfort and secure the form-fitted disposable liner in place.

Cup Holder - To help stay hydrated during labor, Birth Pool in a Box comes with a cup holder. The custom liner allows for this feature to be used as it is designed to fit in the holder.

Sturdy Design - Once the pool is filled, the sides are sturdy enough for a 210 pound person to sit on the side without collapsing it.

Inflation Time - 5-25 minutes, depending on the type of air pump used.

Filling Time - 40 minutes to 3 hours, depending on the capacity of your hot water system.

ECO Material - Cadmium, led and latex free.

Birth Pool in a Box is made from PVC. PVC needs softening additives ("plasticizers") to make it flexible and the plasticizers historically used - compounds called phthalates - have been linked to fertility problems in animals and, by extension, people. The material used for Birth Pool in a Box products contains phthalates below the stringent limits set by the European Union for toys.

The optional ClearFit Cover Mini helps to retain heat in the water and, being a close fit, provides an element of safety.

Warranty - The manufacturing on all Person Birth Pool in a Box Pools is valid only if a new Birth Pool in a Box Liner is used.

Birth Pool in a Box does not recommend using any generic liner on their birth pools - it will not give a secure, tight, custom fit and may not be watertight, undermining the integrity of the Birth Pool in a Box system. To ensure the highest quality water birth experience, Birth Pool in a Box recommends you order a Mini custom Birth Pool in a Box Liner.
