How much does a waterbirth cost?

If you rent a portable pool for either home or hospital birth, it usually costs about $400 but you don't get to keep the pool and often the time you can keep the pool is limited.

You can purchase a birth pool and all your waterbirth supplies from Your Water Birth .com for about $300 and you get to keep the pool!

Some insurance companies do reimburse for the expense of your pool and supplies.

What week in pregnancy do you recommend Moms order their pools by?

We recommend that you have your pool in your home by 37 weeks pregnancy as this is usually the earliest, safest date to give birth and most midwives will let you stay home. So order at 36 weeks.
