I am one of the first direct-entry midwives to be licensed in New York. I am nationally certified by both ACNM and NARM, have a MS degree in midwifery and am also a nutritionist. I have been attending home births for 20 years and both my children were born at home; one in water and one on land. I serve women and families seeking instinctual, intimate birth experiences, nurtured by loved family and friends, using common comforts and encouragement. A deep water bath is a wonderful tool for accomplishing a natural, healthy birth. The final location of the birth (water or land) is worked out in the spontaneous dance of birth.
